Some of the important properties of the globals.properties file, needed for cluster deployment are listed here.

ENABLE_MUTUAL_AUTH

This property enables/disables mutual authentication. This authentication is used when the server wants to authenticate the client as a trusted partner. The server requests mutual authentication, and the client needs to present its certificate to the server while establishing the connection.

ENABLE_TLS

This property enables/disables secure communication (TLS) between client and server.

KEYSTORE_PATH

This property specifies the location of the keystore file. This file is used by the server when secure communication is enabled and required by the client when mutual authentication is enabled.

Example: /data/KM_SNI/Certificate/keystore.jks

TLS_PROTOCOLS

This property specifies the version(s) of the TLS protocols to be used.


TRUSTSTORE_PATH

This property specifies the location of the turststore file. This file is required by the client when secure communication is enabled and required by the server when mutual authentication is enabled

Example: /data/KM_SNI/Certificate/truststore.jks

LOG_DATE_FORMAT

This property enables the administrator to set a custom date format for the logger of all Kyvos components viz. WebPortal, BI Server QueryEngine and Kyvos Jobs.

Possible Values: Any valid date format

Default value: EEE, d MMM yyyy HH:mm:ss,SSS z

LOG_PATTERN

This property enables the administrator to configure log pattern for the logger of all Kyvos components viz. WebPortal, BI Server QueryEngine and Kyvos Jobs.

Default value: logDateFormat#componentName#requestID
