The Kyvos Administrators Guide is for people who are managing users, working with registered files, configuring data connections, or need an understanding of security considerations.

Use the navigation in the left pane of the browser to navigate in this guide.

You should also refer to All Users: Getting Started with Kyvos to learn the basic functionality of using Kyvos.

Kyvos allows you to build cubes for multi-dimensional analysis directly on a big data platform with linear scalability as data size increases. Additionally, Kyvos automatically generates MapReduce jobs to build the cube. Spark is also supported for building cubes and datasets. Analytical processing is done on the data cluster eliminating the overhead of moving data to an external data mart or analytics platform. Kyvos provides support for Cloudera, Hortonworks, and MapR, as well as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure. To see the complete list of supported environments and tools, refer to the Kyvos Release Notes.

Kyvos provides support for the latest releases of Cloudera, Hortonworks, and MapR, as well as Apache Hadoop.
Kyvos also provides support for the cloud platform (AWS and Azure). For Azure, Kyvos supports both Azure HDInsights and Azure Data Lake.

Snowflake is supported as a warehouse or as a datasource on AWS.

BigQuery is supported as a warehouse on Google Marketplace.
